hearty smile and one of those people who always made you laugh! Tom also
had a reputation for playing practical jokes on people at any given
time! This time it was Tom's turn!
One Friday night after leaving work, I would cruise
by
Gino's, which Vito owned,to see who was around or what was going on. As
I drove by I noticed Toms POS Luv truck parked on the Michigan street
hill across from the shop. I turned
around and parked, as I did this I noticed that Tom had just gone
inside and hadn't
seen me pull up but he was close to the door.
A wicked thought went through my mind and I decided Tom
needed some exercise! So I ducked along the cars along the side walk until I reached Toms
POS truck. Sure enough! The keys were gone, but the lock wasn't locked! So I
carefully
opened the passenger door ( this is a RUSTY POS) and slowly climbed in. Looking
to the front of the truck, it was clear, and my plans changed. I made sure I could
turn the wheel and popped the shifter into neutral. As I did this I slunk down so I
could justsee where I was going and still reach the brake pedal.
The POS truck started moving, slowly at first, Tom noticed his
truck rolling and hit the street in full stride! Seeing this big Goomba running down the hill
tore me up! I made him run close to 75 yards and the truck was cooking now! The look
on
Toms face was sheer terror!! I was laughing so loud it hurt! Then I
started tapping the brake pedal so Tom could catch up, then his expression changed, I locked em
up! As I nailed the brakes, I opened the drivers door and Tom about took his
door off! He didn't see me and that made it even funnier when he did see
me!
We laughed on the Hill for quite a while and he congratulated me on a
fine practical joke! I think he is still winded from his sprint! TOM... SALUTE!
