Here's
a good one for
you back years ago Vito owned a pizza shop on Diamond and Sweet
Street.
Me ,Vito and Tom Mace were there putting some finishing touches on
the
restaurant before it was officially open. Some local thugs that
happened to know
Vito stopped in ,don't really remember why, but all of a sudden it went
bad and
it seemed like the rumble was on. There were around 5 of them but a few
were
girls so it was probably 3 to three. Well my mustang was in the lot and
once
the fight started I turned my attention to watching who or what was
getting
next to my car. Well Vito made quick work of the situation when he
brought out
a hand saw and proceeded to swing it back and forth ,he managed to cut
one of
them real bad when he hit him on his arm.
Well the fight was over that night, they had to take him to
hospital to
get him stitched up. Later on that night Vito got a call that the
windows
were broken out of the pizza shop on Michigan St. (Gino's
Pizza)..
Insurance took care of the windows, so it really didn't have that much
affect
on Vito. A few weeks later around Oct of 1979. I was trying a carb
that
Vito had, on my mustang at Telder's garage, Gearhead's on College
and
Leonard and when I was leaving it started to blubber and when I try ed
to clean
it out I dropped a valve and really destroyed the motor. I pulled the
car next
to Telder's garage until I could come back and get it later.
Well
those same cowards that we got into the fight with came around and saw
it, and
proceeded to break the windows out of it, they damage the body and
poured paint
down the side and all over it. The cops called Mark and he
called me.
when I got there the cops told me that this was a situation that
deserved a
little Street Justice. I never did get any revenge I thought they
didn't
have anything to loose and I would if I got caught.
So
if you remember
anything about this or know who happened to be there at that time,
please bitch
slap whoever it was and just tell them that was from Dan.
