Vito Sleeping

Poor Vito

Another Vito moment..... Muffler Man on 28th st.  The lot has been rocking, one
for the books! Late on a Saturday night and there is still a full lot. Vito had been
thrashing on the Bronco for the weekend, and had pulled a red eye the night before.
since things were not slowing down much, Vito was running on fumes and sat down
by the soda machine at the front of the building.
Next thing you know, Vito is out like a light, snoring and oblivious to  the lot
and his surroundings. We  thought this was quite amusing, he looked like a bum
on the sidewalk! People started snickering and  giggling and pointing at the man
we called "Mini Hercules".
Someone came up with a great idea and we put it in motion!  In a beautiful
co-ordinated effort, still giggling and guffawing as it happened, proceeded to push
all the vehicles, not only from the front lot, but also the side lot ,to the back of
Muffler Man! For those who were not needed to push, they collected any bottle, can
or garbage they could find. So with the lot appearing empty other than Vito  fast
asleep at the front of the building, all these "accessories" were placed around Vito
in a very haphazard fashion! Now he truly looked like a street bum!
I don't know if anyone got a picture, but the laughter was contagious and
outrageous! He laid there for close to ten minutes by himself for all the 28th St.
traffic to look upon him! What a sight! Then an siren went off and woke Vito
to all his admirers. He looked around with the most confused look, not knowing
where everyone and the cars went! When we appeared around the corner laughing
our butts off at him..... he knew that he'd been had!  Vito appreciated a good joke
though! God Bless him!
